G-STEP is hosting a FREE full-day business facing event being run by G-STEP at the National Space Centre, Leicester, on the 18th of October. This is a major Business Meets Space event, and in response to input from collaborating SME’s, G-Step are looking at the various ways SME’s can fund R&D and innovation.
G-STEP is a novel business facing University of Leicester project that has been helping SME’s to access Earth Observation data. This type of data could come from satellites, aerial imagery or ground sensors. It may contain complex information but what they do is layer this information into mapping systems to help you design new map based products.
The event will also host the UK launch of a keynote publication ‘Growing uses of GMES in European Regions’ which provides details of innovative use of satellite related data. This is in collaboration with NEREUS and Gaia Remote Sensing Ltd.
