Once again iRail takes place at the historic Roundhouse at Derby College on Tuesday 12th March.
The Transport Innovation Network (iNet), Young Railway Professionals (YRP), Derby and Derbyshire Rail Forum (DDRF), Derby Railway Engineering Society (DRES) and the National Skills Academy for Railway Engineering (NSARE) are once again running their major event themed around the Rail industry, innovation Rail (iRail) 2013. The event is taking place at the historically significant and award winning Derby Roundhouse.
iRail is supported by the Transport iNet, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
An exciting and extensive programme of activities is scheduled for the day which includes:
- Business Breakfast
- Student STEM Challenge
- Disguished Lecture with Buffet
The fourth annual iRail Distinguished Lecture is presented by Peter Dearman, Head of Energy at Network Rail.
The day is an opportunity for the Rail industry to network, interact with young people and celebrate their innovation and success.
